Overview

This opportunity is for a registered nurse with specialized skills in interventional radiology to support procedures within a dynamic cardiovascular lab. The position is based in Glens Falls, NY, offering the chance to work with a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. As an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, you will assist with a range of procedures including angiograms, peripheral revascularization, catheter placements, vascular access, and various biopsy care protocols.

• Providing nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborating with physicians, radiology technologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Managing emergency interventions during off-hours, weekends, and holidays
• Maintaining compliance with infection control and safety standards

• Current RN licensure with experience or certification in interventional radiology nursing preferred
• Proficiency in caring for patients undergoing complex vascular and diagnostic procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Cerner and Mc Kesson
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced clinical setting
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, with proof required upon application

Location:

Glens Falls, NY. This is a contract position supporting a Level I trauma center. Hospital-provided scrubs are part of the dress code. Flexible scheduling includes coverage for emergencies during nights, weekends, and holidays.
