KeyJob Details – ICU RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801 (Adirondack region)
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks (Start: 1/15/2026 – End: 4/18/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990-$2130
- Employment Type: Travel nursing, On-Site
- Openings: 3 ICU RN positions
- Unit: 16-bed Intensive Care Unit with overflow capacity
- Charting Systems: EPIC required; CERNER experience strongly preferred
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
- No on-call required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience, including at least 2.5 years in ICU/Critical Care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC charting; CERNER experience is a plus
- De-escalation training (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) required (online completion accepted)
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
- Travel nurse experience preferred
- Flu vaccination required (religious/medical documentation accepted)
- Available to start on 1/15/2026
- Not eligible if employed at this facility in the past year or within AMC network in the past six months
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex, life-threatening conditions
- Monitor and manage invasive pressure, cardiac, and oximetry equipment in the ICU
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to the PCU as needed to support clinical operations
- Participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention procedures
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC and/or CERNER systems
- Work every other weekend and holiday per schedule
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
