Position Highlights General outpatient neurology practice

Inpatient and emergency neurology consult coverage

Call schedule: 1:4

Partnership with a major academic medical center provides tele-stroke support and ongoing education through a Tele-Neurology Program Preference given to candidates with Stroke Fellowship training

Program Features Designated Primary Stroke Center, certified by DNV and recognized by New York State Consistent recipient of the American Heart Association s Stroke Quality Achievement Awards:
Bronze (inaugural year), Silver (2020), and Gold Plus for the past four years

Annual stroke/TIA patient volume: 400

Inpatient neurology consults annually: 900

Thrombolytic therapy cases administered annually: 50

Recognized as a Center for Excellence in Alzheimer s Disease by New York State Clinic Services and Diagnostics Neurodiagnostic center offering EEG, EMG, Evoked Potential studies, Carotid and Transcranial Doppler imaging

Specialized clinics in Concussion and Headache, including Botox therapy

Strong support for program expansion and service line development to meet community needs
