Overview

An Opportunity to Make a Real Difference for the People of Fife. If you are passionate about art and its role in improving people’s health and wellbeing; and are experienced in managing art collections, then this is the opportunity for you to help work. Our role in managing the art collection within NHS Fife is changing as a result of this strategy and we want to increase our capacity to allow us to deliver new initiatives that use art and connect with communities across Fife.

• Manage the art collection within NHS Fife.
• Contribute to the strategy to increase capacity to deliver new initiatives that use art and connect with communities across Fife.
• Support delivery of art-based health and wellbeing initiatives as part of the charity and NHS Fife teams.

Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager. The secondment policy can be viewed in the policy reference section. If you do not have approval for a secondment from your current line manager, you will not be able to progress your application for a fixed term post. External applicants, with continuous NHS Service, must also have in place a secondment agreement from their existing board to apply for this post.

Build a healthier future for the people of Fife through Fife Health Charity. With the launch of our first ever strategy in 2024, we set new ambitions for how our charity can improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Fife and these now guide all our activities.

Interviews will be held at the end of February 2026.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country.
