Working patternCasual staff can be asked to work any day of the week covering for annual leave and absence as required Monday to Friday.
Pay and benefits- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Pay is every 4 weeks in arrears for casual posts.

Casual staff work to provide customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether it"s Breakfast Club, morning break or lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate. No specific qualification is required for this post as full training will be given.
You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
