Position Summary

What you’ll do:

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates in the assigned area, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, promoting a sense of belonging in the workplace, recognizing achievements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Holds associates accountable by analyzing reports and implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance standards, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans to correct deficiencies.

Ensures confidentiality of information, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies while directing the execution of company programs and strategic initiatives. Manages the financial performance of the area by creating budgets for sales, expenses, and wages, monitoring club indexing, and ensuring budgeted numbers are achieved. Works with the management team to maintain opening and closing procedures, collaborates on merchandising opportunities, addresses scheduling concerns, associate issues, and escalated matters, and reviews special opening or closing instructions.

Improves the member experience by ensuring appropriate service levels, accurate pricing, proper signage, inventory control, and high-quality merchandise presentation. Drives sales through effective merchandising, pricing, signage, inventory management, cleanliness, and daily product displays. Oversees food safety standards, cold chain compliance, product rotation, and recalls while training associates on food safety protocols. Coordinates job-related activities, builds stakeholder relationships, supports business initiatives, identifies goals, measures progress, and promotes continuous learning and adaptability.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $70,500.00 – $84,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may receive Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.

Minimum Qualifications

2 or more years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience with 6 months’ supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 1 year’s SAM’S Club experience; OR 3 years’ military experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Environmental compliance or related field;
Retail profit and loss statement management experience;
Supervisory experience;
Warehouse experience with cold chain compliance.
