Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Medical Case Administrator Sr (MCA) on our Disability and Occupational Health team. Under general supervision, this role is responsible for contacting examinees and providers to coordinate clinical appointments to complete diagnostic testing and follow up with providers to finalize clinical documentation. As an MCA, you will receive and respond to inbound client calls and e-mails, ensuring exceptional customer service with every interaction in alignment with the department s operational workflows and business systems.
Responsibilities- Accept, triage and process referred cases from clients via phone, email and/or faxes received; may require general research and analysis
- Strict adherence to all applicable PHI and PII laws, regulations, and LQTC policies
- Schedule claimant appointments including follow-up and rescheduled appointments. Utilize map applications to ensure scheduling per contract and company guidelines
- Enter appointment information, notes, and appropriate procedure codes into case management system
- Ensure all examinees and providers receive necessary documentation
- Confirm all consultative reports and diagnostic test results are received and uploaded in the case management system in a timely manner
- Meet or exceed contract timeliness guidelines in both scheduling and case management systems
- May help lead/mentor peers in regard to standard workflows
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- High School diploma, or equivalent (GED)
- 1 to 3 years of experience with electronic medical scheduling and/or case management software
- Must be able to pass a federal background check and/or obtain and maintain additional clearances as specified by the contract (e.g., NACI, PIV, SMS, TMS)
- Experience with in healthcare and/or government contracts
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and superior follow through skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, Word
- Detail-oriented and possesses the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize their work
- Must be self-motivated, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively exercise critical thinking skills
- Training: Hybrid. Onsite on Wednesday.
