We train our therapists in dementia care as well as provide other mentoring as needed in topics like vestibular therapy, wound care, and skilled maintenance programming.
Eastern Montana Veteran's Home is looking for a committed and patient-focused Physical Therapist to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions. You will offer effective and client-centered services that will enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities.

Physical TherapistJob Responsibilities
- Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
- Help Residents to improve their mobility.
- Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
- Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
- Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants when required.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

- Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
- Completion of orientation required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
- Become familiar with and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
- Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
