Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Location: Glendive, MT
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12-Hour (07:00 – 19:00)
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patients
Deliver respiratory therapy services in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics
Assist with airway management, including intubation assistance, extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
Manage and monitor patients on mechanical ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, and High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and capillary blood gases
Administer respiratory medications via nebulizers, MDIs, aerosol masks, and trach delivery systems
Support high-risk deliveries, neonatal respiratory care, and inter-departmental patient transports
Perform pulmonary function testing, spirometry, stress testing, and bronchial provocation testing as needed
Provide oxygen therapy using various delivery devices including masks, ET tubes, trach collars, and T-pieces
Assist with emergency response, trauma cases, and rapid response situations
Document patient care accurately and timely using the Cerner charting system
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential long-term care support
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
Experience in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics
Strong knowledge of ventilator management, oxygen delivery systems, and pulmonary hygiene
Proficiency in airway management and respiratory emergencies
Ability to care for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COVID-19, respiratory failure, and aspiration
Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory disorders preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotation
Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
First-time travelers accepted
