HVAC Engineer

Overview

Our client, a leading provider of engineering and technical services, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department, supporting building maintenance and operational excellence.

Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Glendale, CA
Pay Range: $28.55
Shift: Sunday-Thursday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems through proactive testing and scheduled maintenance
• Assign tasks to team members, ensuring timely completion of duties
• Install, repair, calibrate, and service electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend modifications for optimal performance

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education combined will be considered
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting loads of 50 lbs or more
• Strong judgment skills based on analysis of multiple information sources
• Willingness to approach existing solutions with a fresh perspective
• Universal 608 license required
