Job Description

As a Security Officer – School Campus Rounds in Glendale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in educational settings. You will monitor and patrol assigned educational locations, help deter security‑related incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a positive atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly to maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns.
• Collaborate with staff, students, and visitors to promote a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security‑related matters.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screening required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
