Join our Smart & Final store operations team as a Part‑time Retail Associate.

As a Part‑time Retail Associate you will perform management‑assigned duties supporting store operations, stocking, and customer service.

• Maintain assigned store sections and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, validate product date codes, and rotate inventory.
• Prepare perished products for sale and set up promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior store areas.
• Assist customers with product information, aid in loading purchases into vehicles, and provide friendly service.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, recording lost or damaged goods and store supplies.
• Lift and move up to 25, 45, and occasionally 60 pounds following safety protocols.

• Read and write English fluently with the ability to interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence and present information in one‑on‑one or small group settings to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out clear written or oral instructions.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds as required for the role.
