For nearly 25 years, Lids has been the leading headwear and sportswear retailer in North America! We are very excited to start 2022 with our next stop in Germany worldwide. Officially licensed products from professional sports federations and headwear of the hottest sports and fashion brands to sell, which we do. We have already made it through years of hard work, learned from our successes and failures, lived at the intersection of fan and fashion and stayed true to our core values.

Our retail salespeople are the heartbeat and energy of the Lids brand. These cap experts are committed to fostering a passion for sporting and fashion goods by meeting the needs of our loyal customers and occasional buyers alike. Our customers rely on our team to find and select products that represent their individuality, team pride, and personal style. Working in our retail stores requires our retail sales team to provide each customer with an exceptional Lids experience, maintain our product presentations, and be knowledgeable about our products and services.

Generate revenue

• Achieve revenue growth through excellent customer service.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals.
• Ensure store maintenance according to visual guidelines, including sales displays, signage, and cleanliness.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.

Control costs

• Protect company assets within retail guidelines.
• Participate in inventory management, including processing shipments and returns.
• Assist in accurate and timely product counts.
• Follow all retail policies, procedures, and principles.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
• Standing for up to 100% of the shift.

• Same as above, emphasizing professional communication and physical ability.

Associates start at minimum wage with up to 10% more based on experience. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
