Building Engineer

Our client, a leader in building management and facility services, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting maintenance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Engineer

Location: 500 Circle Seven Glendale CA 91201

Pay Range:

• Monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and fire safety systems.
• Ensure all building operations comply with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Implement and support preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
• Perform emergency repairs and troubleshoot complex building system issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• HVAC experience and EPA 608 License preferred; certifications/licenses as required by local jurisdiction.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and work order systems.
• Ability to analyze information, exercise judgment, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

• Competitive swing shift hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Wednesday through Sunday.
• Potential opportunity to convert to full-time employment with an annual salary of $80,000.
