LOWER & KESNER, LLP is a Workers’ Compensation boutique defense law firm dedicated to serving large employers, municipalities, insurance companies, and Third-Party Administrators. The firm is committed to providing expert legal services in the area of workers' compensation.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a full-time remote role for a Workers' Compensation Paralegal. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing workers’ compensation case files, assisting attorneys with legal documentation, handling claims, and communicating with clients and insurance companies. Duties will also include reviewing medical records, preparing legal correspondence, and managing deadlines.
Qualifications- Minimum 1 years experience in workers’ compensation law
- Knowledge of all procedures under EAMS
- Be able to work independently
- Be able to e-file
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work with minimal instructions
- Knowledge of Programs preferable - Word, Outlook, Adobe, Case friend
- Familiar with billing
- Must be reliable in attendance, punctuality, work ethic, have a positive attitude and professional demeanor
