Position SummaryThe Paralegal will assist the in-house counsel in civil procedure, preparing and organizing various legal documents for upcoming cases and trials. Their main duties include discussing and investigating case details with attorneys and clients and organizing different files for different legal proceedings, and filing court documents from beginning to end.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist the in-house counsel in all aspects of drafting, reviewing and amending a wide variety of legal documents;
- Take lead in managing litigation defended internally and externally, including investigations and fact-finding, with an emphasis on employment claims, including personnel and payroll file review and resolution negotiation;
- Work and collaborate closely with other teams in the organization;
- Provide administrative support to company s in-house legal counsel, including, but not limited to scheduling, communicating with outside counsel and opposing counsel, organizing internal files, etc.;
- Support various ongoing or special legal projects;
- Perform legal research, as needed;
- Assist in reviewing and responding to legal discovery requests from outside counsel
- Assist the in-house counsel in the implementation and management of compliance, regulatory, and legal practices;
- Assist with filings, amendments, and other paperwork needed by regulatory bodies;
- Assist in reviewing various vendor contracts/agreements;
- Manage and organize informational documents including contracts, legal reviews, confidential inter-department files, and data regarding litigation matters;
- Act as point of contact for departmental tracking of legal documents, updates, and more.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & QualificationsSalary Range: $71,000.00 - $79,000.00*
* The salary range is the one that Pharos Admin Services reasonably expects to pay for this position.
