Family Law Attorney

Overview

Remote Attorneys needed for a growing LA family law practice. This position is remote until a physical downtown LA office location is opened. Strong family law background and excellent litigation skills are desired. A California state bar certified family law specialization is preferred but not required.

Salary $150,000 - $350,000 per year

• Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division
• Provide expert legal advice and develop strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
• Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in family law legislation
• Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes
• Advocate for clients in court hearings and trials
• Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
• 2-30 years of experience in family law practice
• Proven track record of successful litigation and case management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and acting with integrity
