We are a busy personal injury law firm seeking a dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury cases and will focus on organizing and maintaining litigation folders, managing client and expert communications, and assisting in the discovery process. Responsibilities- Organize and Maintain Litigation Folders:
Ensure all case-related documents are systematically organized, easily accessible, and up to date. - Client and Expert Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and experts, keeping them informed, and ensuring all communications are documented. - Assist in Discovery Process:
Draft and respond to discovery requests, organize and review discovery documents, and maintain meticulous records of all discovery-related activities. - Support the Legal Team:
Provide essential support in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials, including organizing exhibits and trial binders. - Maintain Documentation:
Regularly update and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. - General Administrative Support:
Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth case management and workflow.
- Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal, particularly in personal injury law, is highly preferred.
- Certification or Associates Degree as a Paralegal is preferred.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and the court system, especially in personal injury cases.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on document management and case organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, experts, and legal team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
