* A reputable, fast-growing employment rights law firm practicing employment law is seeking to fill a full-time Litigation Paralegal position in its Glendale office.
- Title: Litigation Paralegal (on-site, not remote)
- Location: Glendale, CA
- Hours: Full-Time / 40 hours per week (Mo-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm)
- Starting Pay: $30.00 - $40.00+ per hour (depending on experience)
- Certification: Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required
- Experience: Law office experience is a must
Benefits are provided after a 90-day probationary period, including health, dental, vision, paid vacation, holidays, and 401K among others.
Responsibilities- Support attorneys with legal documents and case management
- Draft and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, discovery
- Maintain case information and contact inventories
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and colleagues
- Meet deadlines and manage records, projects, and calendars
- Index and update pleadings and discovery files
- Transcribe and proofread legal documents
- Collect and deliver documents, make travel arrangements for lawyers
- Conduct case research and investigations
- Assist other staff as needed
Excellent verbal and written communication, note-taking, professional attitude, attention to detail, dependability, proficiency in computers, multitasking, organizational skills. Fluency in English required;
Spanish is a plus.
