Speech Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapeutic services to patients in their homes. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of home-based care.

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments in patients' homes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for various conditions including stroke, brain injury, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions.
• Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with Medicare and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Previous experience in home health, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills across the lifespan.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate approach to patient care.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.
• Bilingual capabilities a plus.
