Job Responsibilities- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient operations
- Direct all pharmacy activities, including drug preparation, sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy services
- Collaborate with the General Manager to support daily pharmacy operations
- Participate in procurement of medications, supplies, and equipment
- Perform clinical pharmacist duties as needed
- Obtain and maintain out-of-state licenses as required
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacotherapy and IV therapy through continuing education
- Provide support for marketing and clinical initiatives as needed
- Oversee pharmacy QA activities and compliance programs
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of pharmacy personnel
- Conduct annual performance reviews and staff development planning
- Attend and contribute to management, departmental, and inter-departmental meetings
- Prepare and submit operational reports as required
- Assist with pharmacy budget planning and financial objectives
- Support achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed
- Mentor pharmacy students and support pharmacy education rotations
- Foster professional relationships with patients, vendors, and internal teams
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Maintain active state pharmacy licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) from an accredited college of pharmacy - Active pharmacist license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy operations and clinical experience in home infusion, specialty injectables, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of IV admixture, sterile compounding, and home infusion clinical practices
- Supervisory or management experience within a pharmacy setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities
- Reliable and consistent in attendance and performance
- Always maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
- Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA rules and regulations.
- For all activities, comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory, government and safety requirements.
