Aviation Adjunct Instructor; Certified Flight Instructor

Overview

The Technology and Aviation Division is currently accepting applications for an Aviation Adjunct Instructor (Certified Flight Instructor). The teaching assignment is for Spring 2026.

• Any Bachelors or higher plus two years of experience in the discipline, and certificates or license required to do that work OR any Associates degree plus six years of experience in the discipline, and certificates or licenses required to do that work, or the equivalent.
• Possession of an FAA issued commercial pilot license, or higher.
• Current CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) certificate and/or AGI (Advanced Ground Instructor) certificate.

• 1500 hours of Logged Flight Time.
• Current CFII (Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument) certificate.
• Experience working as a chief pilot, check airman, or similar position.
• Teaching experience working with adult population.
