About the Role

The Associate Creative Executive is a hybrid story editor + screenwriter role. This position focuses on polishing scripts from contract writers, providing creative revisions, and supporting the transition from script to production. Creative Associates may also contribute original writing and story development when needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform targeted dialogue passes, pacing adjustments, and creative rewrites to bring scripts to production‑ready level
  • Provide creative solutions to story or structure issues raised during development or pre‑production
  • Represent writers’ creative intent during production and post‑production meetings when needed
  • Adapt and localize stories from novels, scripts, or other IPs
  • Contribute original content (e.g., beat sheets, dialogue writing, bridge scenes) when required
  • Collaborate closely with Development Executives and Creative Executives to align revisions with story direction
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions and creative planning for future slates

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in script editing, screenwriting, or creative development—experience in serialized or digital‑first storytelling is a plus.
  • A sharp and flexible storyteller with a strong grasp of pacing, dialogue, and emotional beats.
  • Comfortable working on revisions under fast turnarounds and tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative, solutions‑oriented, and able to balance creative vision with production practicality.
