Quick Lube Technician​/Express

Description of the Role:

Subaru of Glendale is seeking a skilled and motivated Quick Lube Technician/Express for our dealership in Glendale, California. As a Quick Lube Technician/Express, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and proper functioning of vehicles. Your attention to detail and swift diagnostic abilities will be crucial in identifying and resolving any issues.

• Thoroughly test systems and components to ensure security and proper functioning.
• Identify and isolate systems or components that may be the source of any problems.
• Conduct test drives to assess performance and fluid levels, and make necessary inspections and refills.
• Maintain appropriate tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings as required.
• Perform oil changes, including installing new oil drain plugs and filters, and keep teammates informed about oil levels.
• Efficiently and accurately diagnose and repair vehicles.
• Replace worn parts before they lead to breakdowns or damage.
• Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.

• Deep understanding of automobiles and exceptional diagnostic skills.
• Effective analytical and communication abilities, with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Proficiency in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred).
• Minimum of one year of experience in a service department.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
