Tax Preparer

Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to assist during the busy tax season on a contract basis. In this role, you will focus on preparing and filing individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Based in Glendale, California, this position requires someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately and efficiently.

- Utilize Lacerte software to ensure compliance with tax regulations and standards.

- Manage multiple client accounts and meet tight deadlines during the tax season.

- Provide detail-oriented support to clients with tax-related inquiries.

- Review documentation and calculations to minimize errors and discrepancies.

- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve workflow.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards when handling sensitive information. Requirements - Proven experience in preparing individual tax returns.

- Proficiency in using Lacerte tax software.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.

- Familiarity with current tax laws and compliance standards.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients.

- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices.
