Position: Security Generalist Sr./ Luke AFB, AZ - Level 3

Overview

Lockheed Martin’s Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS) Program Security and Compliance invites you to step up to one of today’s most daunting challenges: the protection of exquisite government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near‑peer adversaries. As a program security professional you’ll safeguard sensitive information and war fighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests.

Here, you’ll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast‑paced, real‑world environment you’ll draw on your education, experience, and Lockheed Martin’s resources to keep these capabilities protected.

The Work

This position is located at Luke AFB, AZ and will support F‑35 security operations. The position will primarily be assigned to first shift but may require flexibility to work other shifts as dictated by customer requirements, including weekends and other shifts assigned to support mission events. Occasional business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment (TDY) support in arduous or austere locations to support F‑35 security operations outside of Luke AFB, AZ.

Due to local mission requirements, a Top‑Secret clearance may be required in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial and annual security training for assigned personnel, annual self‑inspections/reviews, and staff assistance visits.
  • Identify, report, and document security incidents in accordance with DoDM 5205.07.
  • Provide overall SAP security administration and support as outlined in the DoDM 5205.07 series regulations.
  • Enforce all USAF, local security procedures, practices, DoDM 5205, and ICD 705.
  • Perform random entry/exit searches, change combinations, and generate SF 700s.
  • Perform classified material management.
  • Control access to secure facilities, handle and storage of classified documents and electronic media.
  • Assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities.
  • Operate badging and access control systems.
  • Monitor security camera systems.
  • Assist in self‑inspections and prepare for customer inspections.
  • Perform and document vault alarm tests.
  • Assist in security inquiries.
  • Assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Fighter Training Center (FTC).
  • Other duties as needed by site and security leadership.

US citizenship is required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.

Basic

Qualifications
  • Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from the investigation close date.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) access.
  • Previous SAP experience and knowledge of DoD 5205.07.
  • Familiarity with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional productive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Desired Skills
  • Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
  • Experience working in a military environment.
  • Knowledge of F‑35 program security environments.
  • Experience providing briefings and/or training.
