Overview
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team in providing quality medical care to patients within a transitional Corrections setting. CNAs will work with fellow team members to ensure competent care, safety, and compassionate service to the patient population. The posting location is Glendale, AZ.
Responsibilities- Medical Screening (New Arrivals)
- Comprehensive Screening
- Sick Call
- 24-Hour Emergency Medical and Mental Health Treatment
- Women’s Medical Care
- All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available. Requirements:
Education: - High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
- Completion of all requirements necessary for graduation from an established, state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
- Current, valid, unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or the District of Columbia
- Minimum one (1) year of recent experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current, valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desired
