Shift: Part-Time (12‑hour nights, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am)

Differentials: Night shift differential

Our Peoria Emergency Center is a modern, freestanding ED designed for rapid access to emergency care and seamless transfer when higher levels of care are needed as part of the Abrazo network. It features on‑site diagnostics and is aligned with Abrazo Arrowhead Campus for continuity of care.

Provide professional, compassionate emergency nursing care to a diverse, age‑varied population. Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and ancillary teams to deliver safe, efficient care. Serve as a clinical resource during the night shift, participate in quality/safety initiatives, and—when assigned—function as charge RN. Practice is guided by the nursing process, evidence‑based standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Perform rapid triage, focused assessments, and individualized plans of care; coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient goals.
• Initiate and manage IV therapies, cardiac/respiratory monitoring, medication administration, and ED protocols (sepsis, stroke, STEMI, trauma activation per policy).
• Support throughput (bed assignment/turnover) and operational flow.
• Mentor team members and contribute to ongoing readiness for survey and regulatory standards.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills; strong customer service.
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced environment with periods of high acuity/volume.
• Strongly preferred: recent experience in Emergency or ICU settings.

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.

• 1 year of recent acute care experience (ED or ICU).

• Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or compact).
• BLS
• ACLS required upon completion of orientation.
• PALS or ENPC required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).

• Night differential for 7p–7a shifts.
• Tight‑knit ED team with supportive leadership and strong EMS/physician collaboration.
• On‑site lab and advanced diagnostic imaging for rapid workups; integrated transfer pathways within Abrazo.
• Convenient North Peoria location at 26900 N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy with easy access and parking.
