Aurora Behavioral Health System, Arizona's largest free‑standing psychiatric hospital system, is seeking a Full‑Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intake Department on the Night Shift

The Intake RN plays a key role in the admissions process, ensuring safe, accurate, and compassionate evaluation of incoming patients. This role requires strong clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for incoming patients
- Initiate and document individualized care plans
- Provide professional nursing care in alignment with hospital policies and standards
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery expectations
- Delegate tasks and supervise support staff
- Collaborate with physicians, intake clinicians, and behavioral health teams to ensure high‑quality care
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Active Arizona RN license (required)
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Eligible for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Full‑Time
- Night Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- On‑site at our Glendale, AZ inpatient psychiatric hospital
