Inventory Control Specialist

Talascend is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Glendale, Arizona
.

The role involves maintaining control of all inventory items purchased and produced, ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, and performing various tasks under general supervision.

• Validates accuracy of bin location per inventory document and pulls defined bin for counting.
• Validates material data against inventory document and counts materials using appropriate tools.
• Documents quantity of parts on inventory document or in SAP, then repackages and reseals them.
• Validates accuracy of receipt of items from receiving and incoming, prepares items for storage.
• Processes items using SAP and assures proper labeling for data accuracy.
• Supports admin work for stockroom reports, filing, and distribution.
• Supports inter-departmental transport of materials when required.
• Assists kitting person with pulls as required and validates material and location data against labels.

• High school diploma with functional experience

• Must be detail-oriented and able to stay focused.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Required to wear ESD smock, safety straps, and gloves to prevent exposure to product.
• Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated.
• May need to use PPE such as safety glasses and gloves to handle certain materials.
• Operation of a powered industrial truck may be required.
• Some travel to another site may be required.

1st Shift - 7AM to 3:30PM
