Utilities Technician - Day Shift

Job Overview

Utilities Technician – Day Shift  visa sponsorship.

Hourly pay $40.35–$42.35. Full‑time, 8‑hour shift 6 am–6:30 pm. Sign‑on bonus $2,500.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment, including boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, chilled‑water glycol systems, reverse osmosis, wastewater recycling centre.
• Plan, prioritize and execute maintenance plans to optimize reliability.
• Provide support for improvement projects.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, boiler systems; knowledge of chilled‑water glycol systems.
• Refrigeration certification preferred.
• Technical associate degree or certificate preferred.
• Required to obtain CARO (Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator) certification within 6–12 months of employment.
• No contact lens use allowed in ammonia areas.

• Work‑order management and maintenance‑plan review to drive equipment reliability.
• Problem‑solving skills to maintain, optimize and improve equipment, with key plant indicators such as safety, quality, cost.
• Mechanical system knowledge – hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical drive systems.

• Hourly pay rate $40.35–$42.35.
