Job Summary & Functions: The purpose of this position is:
Tends automatic equipment that conveys metal objects through series of cleaning, rinsing, and plating solutions to plate objects and observes plating operation to ensure conformance with company standards.

Responsibilities include: Prepare all process equipment to start plating operations; add and maintain chemicals on the plating line according to the chemical add sheet and record data; perform minor troubleshooting on the plating line; place parts in automatic and/or semi‑automatic plating baths for cleaning, rinsing, drying and chemical application to required specifications; make minor computer program adjustments to ensure continuous operation on the plating line;

conduct periodic quality‑control checks on plated surfaces; record amounts of parts processed through the plating line on a daily production sheet; operate hand and full‑size forklifts to move pallets of parts; assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment; maintain safety and quality standards with acceptable housekeeping; maintain good verbal and written communication with supervisor regarding plating processes.

The range for this position is $20.00 hourly rate - $23.50 hourly rate.

Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
