The Production Manager is responsible to manage all aspects of machine shop, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and its respective employees. Ensure all parts that are machined, assembled, and delivered accurately and on time.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- To manage department operations to meet and exceed scheduling demands set in the business system.
- Accurately and effectively communicate job progress, issues, and completions with department supervisors or managers.
- Operation of Syteline for accurate job processing.
- Promotes achievement of quality standards and performance improvement.
- Maintain a neat and organized department.
- Maintain safety, OSHA, and quality programs.
- Any other duties that are assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Manufacturing experience
- 4+ years of Production Manager experience with proven success
- Effective employee and time management skills.
- Motivated, detail/goal oriented and ethical.
- Must be confident and comfortable with math, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Must be able to read and understand machine prints.
- Must be capable of using various precision measuring equipment.
- Must be computer literate.
- Familiarity with MRP operations is preferred.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be dependable and timely to work
- Must be willing to work early and/or late to meet the needs of the business.
