Job Description:
- The Service Now Senior Developer will design, develop, and implement Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions within the Service Now platform.
- This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, experience in enterprise Service Now environments, and the ability to support integrations, enhancements, and administrative functions while following Agile best practices.
- Design and implement Service Now HRSD solutions including HR Case Management, Employee Service Center, HR Knowledge Management, Lifecycle Events, Document Management, and Virtual Agent or Now Assist capabilities.
- Develop and customize Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, UI Policies, Events, Notifications, Views, and Reports.
- Design, modify, and maintain Service Now forms, workflows, Flow Designer processes, scripts, transform maps, web services, inbound email actions, SLAs, and scheduled jobs.
- Design, code, test, and deliver solutions using established frameworks and best practices for Service Now HRSD.
- Integrate Service Now with third-party HR systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Execute minor and major enhancement requests including UI modifications, system property updates, JavaScript changes, foundational content adjustments, and workflow enhancements.
- Perform administrative and maintenance activities within the Service Now platform.
- Build and manage knowledge articles for various user groups within the system.
- Collaborate in Agile or Scrum environments and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in Service Now HRSD.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Angular
JS, HTML, CSS, and XML. - Extensive experience with Service Now scripting and configuration.
- Experience working in complex enterprise Service Now environments.
- Strong understanding of Service Now administrative and maintenance activities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Service Now HRSD in an enterprise environment.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist HRSD certification.
- Experience with Now Assist or Virtual Agent.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience with Service Portal development and troubleshooting.
