Leading Edge Senior Care is hiring immediately for professional, dependable Personal Care Assistant or CNA to work with our client in Glendale.

This is an Awake Overnight - Shift starts at 10:00 pm and ends at 6:00 am. Days are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It requires experience with a Hoyer lift.

We offer competitive pay $18 - $19 DOE, paid training, referral bonuses, opportunities for advancement, and a PPE kit provided.

Job duties will include:
You must have a history with a Hoyer lift and be comfortable using one. Candidates that do not will not be considered for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a fingerprint clearance card or be able to obtain one.
• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly.
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write English.
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Must have at least 2-years prior experience working with the elderly.
• Ability to participate in physical activity.
• Ability to lift 50lbs/to do extensive bending and standing on a regular basis.
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License and current automobile insurance. Clean 3-year driving history, no at-fault accidents, and no more than 1 moving violation.
• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
• CPR/First Aid Certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
