• Leading and managing the Health Services team, ensuring high performance through effective selection, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Conducting comprehensive resident assessments prior to move‑in and on an ongoing basis, ensuring care plans reflect actual needs and appropriate Level of Care.
• Ensuring high‑quality care delivery and compliance by conducting observations, auditing documentation (including EHR, Yardi, Care Stream tasks, Quick Mar/med audits), call light response, and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinating care with all external partners such as physicians, labs, and therapy providers, ensuring all orders and treatments are accurately executed.
• Implementing operational policies and procedures to build efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance across healthcare services.
• Managing departmental functions, including budget, supply inventory, staffing, record‑keeping for the care team, and ensuring the physical location is maintained.
• Facilitating regular meetings and communication with residents, families, and associates to resolve issues and discuss needs, services, and progress.
