The Assistant Center Manager (ACM) works with the Health Center Manger to ensure the efficient coordination, management of workflow and systems within an assigned Health Center providing both Family Planning and Abortion services. The ACM performs supervisory responsibilities to include the training of employees, assigning and directing of work, as needed addressing patient and employee complaints and finding solutions and resolutions to issues or complaints.
This position assists in the oversight of the health center’s overall risk, quality and compliance, as well as quality assurance to provide top notch quality care in a safe environment for both patients and staff.

GENERAL PRIORITIES PERSONNEL SUPERVISION- Models and ensures the highest standard of professionalism, work standards and customer service levels and care.
- Sets standard of excellence and adherence to PPAZ's core values of respect, teamwork, professionalism, open communication and integrity for all health center staff, patients and volunteers.
- Coordinates the flow of work in the front and back office area for assigned Health Center. Assigns tasks on a daily basis to Team Leads, Health Care Assistants, Surgical Assistants or Volunteers to facilitate effective and efficient handling of the workload. Works under agreed upon general principles set forth by the Center Manager.
- Ensures proper training of Team Leads and Health Care Assistants. Provides support and arranges for ongoing training, as needed, for effective work performance.
- Performs duties of Team Lead or Health Care Assistant, as needed.
- Submits all required occurrence and incident reports per PPAZ policy.
- Ensures all health center records are properly filed and confidentiality is maintained.
- Assists in the management of day-to-day health center activities.
- Adheres and assists in health center security and safety procedures.
- Manages and facilitates health center flow.
- Participates in patient care as patient flow dictates.
- Ensures compliance by monitoring and reviewing logs, and auditing charts.
- Communicates with staff to ensure the health center has supplies and equipment necessary for the provision of health services. Places all orders and verifies receipts in the electronic management system. Assists with inventory management and control.
- Collaborates with Center Manager to meet health center productivity and operational goals in conjunction with budgetary adherence.
- Assists with the management of inventories, daily closing procedures, petty cash and ensure balance of daily receipts.
- Ensures expected patient care and customer service levels at health center.
- Assists patients with service questions, concerns or complaints.

- Willingness to travel to all health centers in service area and work flexible hours as needed.
