Aurora Behavioral Health System (ABHS) is seeking experienced, certified Recreational Therapists and Music Therapists to join our professional team in Glendale, AZ. We are a freestanding psychiatric hospital offering both inpatient and outpatient programs for adolescents and adults dealing with a wide range of psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency.

• Providing therapeutic interventions for both adolescent and adult patients.
• Interacting with patients during daily routine activities consistent with the principles of normal growth and development.
• Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team.

What You ll Bring (Required Qualifications)

We are seeking credentialed and/or licensed professionals
. To be considered a qualified applicant, you must meet one of the following educational/certification requirements:

• Certification from an accredited organization in a creative arts/expressive therapy or recreational/leisure therapy (e.g., MT-BC, CTRS, ATR).
• A Master s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another Master s degree that is license-eligible (e.g., LPC, LCSW).

• Knowledge of psychiatric and addictive disease diagnoses and treatment.
• Excellent communication, assessment, evaluation, and interpretation skills.
• Must be 21 years of age and qualify for fingerprint clearance.
