Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information; safeguard on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and patients.

You Are

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• Must have BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
