Healthcare Valet Attendant - Location:
Banner Thunderbird - Glendale, AZ - Pay Rate: $15.15 (no tip credit) + Cash tips averaging an additional $5-$10 per hour
- Schedule:
Full Time - Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm - WEEKENDS OFF - Requirement:
Driver's license required; minimum of 2 years - Vaccination:
Flu vaccination is a requirement for this Healthcare location. The vaccination will be provided by the client. If an exemption is requested, we will work with HR and the client to approve or deny
- Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop rapport with each person.
- Direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, with a positive demeanor.
- Work with or without supervision as needed.
- Promote excellent customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, and foster positive impressions of LAZ Parking.
- Handle customer complaints in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain and care for all company issued equipment.
- Assist with any special assignments and projects as requested.
- Other related duties as assigned
- Charismatic, energetic, and helpful.
- Responsible and dependable; trustworthy and reliable.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Good under pressure; able to stay focused and manage tasks.
- Good communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and comprehension).
- Team player, open to different opinions, and able to motivate others.
- A good driver with a clean driving record; able to drive a standard transmission; careful with other people’s property
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Experience- Strong customer service experience.
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Two years of driving experience with an ACTIVE license required.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Willingness to be flexible, work across multiple facility locations.
- Ability to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations.
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Ability to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions.
- Ability to drive a manual shift vehicle.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in the elements (heat, wind, snow, rain).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
