Position: Program Controls Specialist I

Job Description

As a Program Controls Specialist at Honeywell, you will manage and direct the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting.

You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and will work out of either Clearwater, FL or Glendale, AZ on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution of projects by ensuring effective program controls, which are essential for meeting project goals and delivering value to our customers. You will assist the Integrated program team to develop program plans and create cost and schedule baselines. You will prepare and publish metrics and reports, analyze variances, review compliance with corporate guidelines across multiple teams, and drive decisions to improve program performance impacting one or more site locations.

  • Analyze cost and schedule integration
  • Track budget and program financial data
  • Maintain schedule and track milestones
  • Develop and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge to programs
Qualifications

You must have:

  • 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • US citizenship, required by export control regulations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • Ability to work in a large, diverse team within a matrix work environment
  • Experience with SAP systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
  • Experience with financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management
  • Experience with Earned Value metrics, estimate at completion growth, and milestone fidelity
Citizenship Requirement

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
