Asthe K‑8 Grade Teacher, You Will
- Provide academic instruction aligned to Arizona State Standards.
- Prepare and deliver instruction appropriate to the grade level that includes different learning styles, abilities, and interests.
- Utilize school adopted systems of practice for curriculum, instruction, and assessment including Beyond Textbooks, Spalding, data submission, and testing protocols.
- Have prior knowledge of Spalding, Beyond Textbooks, and data‑driven instruction as a plus.
- Assess student progress towards learning targets, objectives, expectations, and goals for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents/guardians, and administration.
- Use available technology to enhance student learning.
- Communicate learning goals to students and parents or guardians in a well‑planned and organized manner.
- Use school and state assessment data to inform instruction.
- Establish classroom routines and procedures in a positive manner conducive to effective instruction.
- Effectively implement student goals outlined in 504 Plans and IEPs.
- Participate in grade‑level and/or school‑wide professional learning activities.
- Document and proactively attempt to resolve issues related to student behavior and/or attendance.
- Reflect continually on teaching and professional practice.
- Supervise classroom and/or other students in the school in adherence with state laws.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by the school and law.
- Participate in school‑wide events, scheduled meetings, and parent conferences.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Promote positive interactions with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Be responsible, flexible, reliable, and punctual.

- Bachelor's Degree.
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Minimum one (1) year teaching experience.
- Arizona Teaching Certificate or Reciprocal Out‑of‑State Certificate.
- Master's Degree or higher.
- Typical duties include stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, pushing, reaching, lifting, seeing, hearing, talking, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Must be able to physically manage a classroom with small children ensuring their safety at all times.
