Requirements

Primary Responsibilities: Toplan and provide Title I student instruction, in either reading or math; universal screener and progress monitoring test administration; and maintain required Title I paperwork.

Job Skills and Specifications
  • Must be able to organize and distribute universal screener, progress monitoring, and Curriculum Based Measurement (CBM) student and teacher materials.
  • Must be able to administer, collect, maintain, and convey universal screener, progress monitoring, informal diagnostic, and Curriculum Based Measurement (CBM) assessments and data.
  • Must be able to develop, distribute, and maintain progress monitoring assessment schedule and reminders for appropriate staff.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of students by creating individual student goals and tracking student growth, under the guidance of the ESEA Coordinator (Title I Reading or Math Intervention Plan and Progress reports).
  • Must be able to maintain and distribute daily instructional records (Title I reading or math Logs).
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to support the behavioral and instructional needs of students from at-risk circumstances, under the guidance of the ESEA Coordinator.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with educational stakeholders.
  • Must be able participate in quarterly and monthly data meetings and yearly Title I Parent Meetings with educational stakeholders.
  • Must be able to assist the Title I department during pre-service and in-service professional development presentations, during walk-throughs, and literacy coaching sessions.
  • Maintain Title I Lending Library and assist students with book selections.
  • Maintain online supplemental learning programs and rosters.
Qualifications
  • Must be Highly Qualified, as designated by the Arizona Department of Education Attestation for Paraprofessionals or higher.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Must be willing and able to learn additional assessment databased and online intervention programs, as needed.
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
