Requirements

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify and address the individual learning needs of students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Foster a stimulating, inclusive learning environment that encourages growth and development
  • Instill positive attitudes, skills, and knowledge in students to prepare them for academic success
  • Utilize various evaluation tools (e.g., tests, observations) to monitor and assess student progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding student performance and behavior
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting ethical behavior and respect
  • Organize, direct, and oversee parent volunteers and paraprofessionals in the classroom
  • Supervise and lead an after-school activity or club to enhance student engagement
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and adhere to school policies
  • Provide accommodations and interventions for students requiring additional academic support
  • Assign, review, and provide constructive feedback on homework and classwork
  • Prepare students for standardized assessments in alignment with Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including grades and attendance
  • Adhere to Arizona sanitation and safety regulations, ensuring a secure environment for students

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education (preferred) or a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience
  • Early Childhood Education Certification (required)
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning
  • Familiarity with project-based learning or other innovative instructional strategies
  • Background in classroom management strategies for diverse learners
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification
