Part-time, temporary position not eligible for benefits.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (Flexible). This is a part-time, temporary position (19.5 hours/week).
Office worker to help with basic office tasks including, but not limited to, answering phone calls and emails, typing, filing, running errands, creating/hanging flyers, assisting department events and clubs, assisting with general office maintenance, working with faculty on special projects, and miscellaneous duties as assigned. Potential to work in studio settings.
Additional InformationIn order to qualify for a Federal Work-Study (FWS) job, a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) must be on file for the current award year and have eligible financial needs based on the college requirements. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for more information prior to applying to a Federal Work-Study job.
- FWS is a need-based, federally funded program.
- FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal work-study eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
- FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six degree-applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
- The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students’ academic goals.

- Must be a current student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Spring 2025 at Glendale Community College
- Applicants must have all Financial Aid Paperwork complete and on file with GCC FA office and be eligible for Federal Work Study.
- Great customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic Office and Google Drive software
- Knowledge of office equipment such as a copier
- Great communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Self-starter and proactive
- Able to follow instructions
