Metal Truss & Wall Designer

Metal Truss & Wall Designer:
Are you an experienced, hardworking Metal Truss & Wall Designer who strives for top-quality results? We are partnered with a well-established Metal Prefab company with a reputation for excellence in delivering high-quality, large-scale commercial drywall projects. They are currently seeking a skilled Metal Truss & Wall Designer with extensive experience in large commercial projects to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company that values expertise, precision, and innovation in every project.

Metal Truss & Wall Designer:
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop truss and panel layout placement plans based on architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and project requirements.
    • Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and efficient layouts.
    • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with standards and customer needs.
    • Provide technical guidance to junior designers and ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Coordinate with the production team to ensure seamless fabrication and installation processes.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years in metal truss and wall design, preferably in a fabrication or construction environment.
    • Education: Degree in Structural Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other industry-standard design tools.
    • Strong understanding of architectural, mechanical, and structural principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
