Overview
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for General Dentist to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients within a transitional setting. Dentists, alongside fellow team members, will be entrusted to ensure that competent care and safety is delivered with compassion to the patient population.
Responsibilities- Provide dental and medical services within a secure medical facility as part of the medical team.
- Conduct medical and dental screenings and assessments (e.g., Medical Screening (New Arrivals), Comprehensive Screening).
- Provide sick calls and 24-hour emergency medical and mental health treatment as needed.
- Coordinate with Aspen Medical s EMS, diagnostic and laboratory, and other ancillary services in accordance with US clinical standards and compliance measures.
- All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available.
- Successful completion of dental school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) or Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) with either a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
- Successful completion of an approved residency program in general practice or specialty, or comparable experience treating medically compromised patients.
- American Board of General Dentistry (ABGD) Board-eligible or ABGD Board Certified required.
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States (or in the District of Columbia).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience post-qualification, including general dentistry and clinical experience in orofacial pain, emergency and non-emergency dental procedures, dental implants, and strong surgical skill set.
- Current, valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desired but not required.
