Collision​/Body Shop Technician

Join Sands Chevrolet Glendale as a Collision/Body Shop Technician and bring your expertise in vehicle repair and restoration to a premier automotive service center. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills to help customers get back on the road quickly and safely.

• Perform collision repair and bodywork on a variety of vehicles, including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement.
• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and ensuring surfaces are clean and defect-free.
• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs needed and provide accurate estimates.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters and service advisors to facilitate smooth repair processes.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to restore vehicles to original manufacturer specifications.

• Proven experience as a collision/body shop technician.
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in various positions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Glendale, AZ location.
• Certification from I-CAR preferred but not required.

• Competitive commission range from $25.00 to $30.00 per flat rate, depending on experience.
