Position Overview

Bascom Hunter is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Glendale, Arizona. This in‑person role provides administrative and organizational support to our Program Management and Engineering teams on active Aerospace & Defense projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and an excellent communicator, capable of juggling multiple administrative tasks and timelines while keeping projects on track. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to Program Managers and project teams, including meeting scheduling, status tracking, and documentation.
  • Maintain project schedules, task lists, and action item logs, ensuring timely updates and distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation, formatting, and submission of project deliverables, reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and dependencies, helping to identify risks or delays and communicate updates.
  • Coordinate meetings, customer communications, and vendor interactions, ensuring clear documentation of discussions and next steps.
  • Organize and manage program records, documentation, and configuration control files in accordance with company standards.
  • Support purchasing, shipping, and logistics activities related to program schedules and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required).
  • 2+ years of experience in a project coordination, administrative, or office management role (experience in technical, engineering, or defense environments a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort with project management tools and online collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required (due to DoD contract requirements).
  • Position is 100% on‑site.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting technical, engineering, or government contract programs.
  • Familiarity with document control processes, scheduling tools, or program management software.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing, procurement, or logistics coordination.
