Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join the team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring strong internal controls. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

• Manage full‑cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and identify potential process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper accounting treatment for business activities.
• Analyze and explain fluctuations in balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Research accounting issues and apply relevant standards as needed.
• Partner with A/R and A/P teams to validate account balances.
• Review financial statements for completeness and compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with internal controls, SOX‑related procedures, and compliance efforts.
• Support interim and year‑end audits by coordinating with external auditors.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and provide insights to management.

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to improve and enhance existing accounting processes
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to produce effective ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Self‑motivated, able to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
• Demonstrated ability to resolve accounting issues

• CPA preferred
• Combination of public accounting and industry experience
• Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or similar industries a plus
